Today I began to work on some more F1 Rocket mods on the elevator spars. This is similar to the rudder spar stiffener that I recently wrote about. The previous post talks about the specifics for these stiffener angles. I’ll keep this post short so as not to drone-on too much.
Here is a diagram of where the elevator stiffener angle is located.

Here are a couple pictures of how it fits against the spar and tip rib. Again, all the #40 holes will be drilled to #30 prior to the final assembly.
Here is a shot looking at the outer side of the tip rib. Yeah, the work space is a bit tight right now but I’m getting work done which is the main thing!
